River Bend RV Dump Station Fee

Visitors to River Bend County Parks should be aware that there is a $5.00 fee for use of the RV dump station at the Park.  River Bend, Sunnyside and Waterloo County Park's waste water systems are operated under a permit from the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ).  In order to meet DEQ permit requirements it was necessary for Linn County  to make improvements to the River Bend waste water treatment system. The highly concentrated waste strength and flow volume from the RV dump was determined to be the main problem with the system.  The RV dump station fee will be used to offset the cost of operations and improvements of the waste water system.  We are experiencing similar issues at Sunnyside County Park, which will need to be addressed in the near future. Due  to permit flow limitations only campers registered at the park with an RV dump station are permitted to use that parks dump station.
