Linn County Parks & Campgrounds 2021 Closure Dates & 2022 Seasonal Opening Dates

  • The Following Campgrounds remain open with modified availability:

  • Clear Lake Resort, McKenzie Hwy, Willamette National Forest is open year round.
    • Lodge Hours: Sunday thru Thursday, 7am-4:30pm; Friday & Saturday, 7am-6pm; the restaurant is closed.
  • Edgewater RV Park, is open year round.
  • River Bend County Park & Campground - Camp Loops A,B,C & D loops are open all year.  E & F loops will be closing on November 28, 2021.  G loop will close on October 31, 2021.
  • Waterloo County Park, A loop camping is open all year; the B loop camping area has closed for the fall/winter season.
  • All other Linn County day-use areas/parks remain open year round with limited services.

  • The Following Campgrounds are now closed or will be closing soon, for the fall/winter season:

  • Cascadia State Park - closed for the fall/winter season (Open for day use walk-ins).
  • John Neal Memorial County Park & Campground - closed for the fall/winter season (Open for day use walk-ins).
  • Sunnyside County Park Campground closes on October 31, 2021. The Sunnyside Boat ramp and day-use area or open all year.
  • Whitcomb Creek County Park - closes on Sunday, October 17th.

  • The Following Campgrounds & Parks will open for the 2022 season on the dates listed below:

  • John Neal: Opens 04/15/2022
  • Lewis Creek County Park: Opens on 5/20/2022 (Currently open for day use walk-ins).
  • Quartzville Group Camp:  Opens Memorial Day Weekend
  • Riverbend County Park E, F, G Loops:  Opens on 3/18/2022
  • Roaring River:  Open all year but with limited services from 10/8/21 until 5/7/2022.
  • Rocky Top Group Camp:  Opens Memorial Day Weekend
  • Sunnyside A Row:  Opens on 3/18/2022
  • Sunnyside B & C Loops:  Opens 05/6/2022
  • Waterloo B Loop:  Opens 05/20/2022
  • Whitcomb Creek County Park:  Opens on 4/15/2022

  • The Following USFS Campgrounds are now closed and will reopen on the dates listed below:

  • Fernview Group Camp (USFS),(Campground Opens on 5/06/22 for Season)
  • House Rock Campground (USFS),(Campground Opens on 5/06/22 for Season)
  • Longbow Group Camp (USFS),(Campground Opens on 5/06/22 for Season)
  • Lost Prairie Group Camp (USFS),(Campground Opens on 5/06/22 for Season, dependent on weather conditions)
  • Trout Creek Campground (USFS),(Campground Opens on 5/06/22 for Season)
  • Yukwah Campground (USFS),(Campground Opens on 5/06/22 for Season)
