McClun Wayside
Park Location – Located on the Upper Calapooia River approximately two miles southeast of Holley via county Road 759.
Park Usage – Open Year-Round
This 2-acre site is presently used for fishing with some swimming and rustic picnicking. The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife stocks the river at this site with trout. The stocking for trout season takes place from McClun Bridge. The site is a long narrow piece of property sandwiched between the Upper Calapooia River and Co. Rd. 759. County Road 757 crosses the Calopooia River (via McClun Bridge) in the southeastern portion of the site. McClun Bridge is a single lane bridge not designed for heavy traffic.
