NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be accepted at Linn County Parks and Recreation Department by Stacey Whaley at 3010 Ferry St. SW, Albany, Oregon, 97322 until 5:00 PM Local Time, Monday, August 19, 2024, at which time and place bids will be closed. The bids will be publicly opened and read at the Linn County Board meeting at approximately 9:35AM on Tuesday, August 20, 2024.
A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 9:00AM on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at 1430 24th Street, Sweet Home, Oregon 97386.
The work consists of construction of a multi-lane RV dump facility including the following:
- Preparing subgrade and asphalt paving the entry road and lanes
- Installation of curbs and other paved areas
- Excavation and installation of sanitary sewer dumps and a 4 lane waste collection system
- Installation of storm drain, swale, outlet with flow control, and conveyance ditch
- Installation of water filling station, washdown station, and private waterlines
- Install methane abatement system in compliance with the site plans
- Install the power and lighting for the site
- Connect the system to the city of Sweet Home wastewater treatment and city water distribution systems
- Perform additional and incidental Work as called for by the Specifications and Plans
This is a public works contract subject to the prevailing wage requirements of ORS 279C.800 – 279C.870.

The Linn County Parks and Recreation Department office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please note that the office closes Monday through Friday 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Bids will be received by Stacey Whaley at 3010 Ferry St. SW, Albany, Oregon 97322 until the submission deadline on Monday, August 19, 2024 at 5:00PM. Bids will be publicly opened and read at the bid opening at the closing date/time. Bids must be clearly labeled and follow all bid instructions.
Any questions, objections, or comments to the bid package must be submitted in writing to the attention of Stacey Whaley at 3010 Ferry St. SW, Albany, Oregon 97322 no later than 12:00PM on August 9, 2024 – 10 days prior to bid closing. Clarifications, whether verbal or in writing, do not change the plans, specifications, contractual terms, or procurement requirements of the bid package unless a formal amendment is issued by the County.
Linn County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive formalities, and to postpone the award of the contract for thirty (30) days. All bids and all prices quoted in bids shall be firm for a period of thirty (30) days after the bid closing date.
