Green Peter Reservoir - Whitcomb and Thistle Creek Boat Ramps

Linn County Parks and Recreation is committed to providing the best camping and recreation opportunities for our guests, but we do not control water levels.  Please monitor current water levels at http://waterdata.usgs.gov.  The following elevations are provided for your guidance:

• Green Peter Full Pool elevation: 1010’

Reservoir Boat Ramp Toe Elevation:

• Whitcomb Creek Boat Ramp:  970’ - As of 07.19.2023, the boat ramp is closed.
• Thistle Creek Lower Ramp:  919’ - As of 07.10.2023, the water level is 978.9'.
• Thistle Creek Upper Ramp:  980’ - Ramp no longer usable.

*Boaters should keep in mind that to launch most boats there needs to be at least two feet of water, larger boats would need at least four feet, above the toe elevation of the ramp.
