Kalapuyans of the Willamette Valley, A Lecture Series has been Canceled

Unfortunately, The Kalapuyans Lecture Series has been canceled due to the COVID-19 outbreak.  We are hoping to reschedule the Tom Connolly, PhD presentation on “Kalapuyan Archaeology: The Cultural Record Before 1800” for later date.  Please check this this website for updates.  

As part of the Launch of our new exhibit tracing the history of the valley’s Native American tribes we will be presenting three lectures by the three creators of the exhibit.

On February 7 David Lewis, PhD will be telling “Stories of the Kalapuyans of the Central Valley”.

On March 6 Paul Baxter, PhD will tell a “Long Story Short, Cascadia Cave turns 10,000”.

On April 17th Tom Connolly, PhD will discuss “Kalapuyan Archaeology: The Cultural Record Before 1800”.

All are free and take place at 7:00 PM at the Baptist Church of Brownsville, 27910 Seven Mile Lane

The museum will be open from 6-6:45 if you would like to view the exhibit before the lecture
